Developmental Home Program
Safe Haven Services offers both Child Developmental Home Services & Adult Developmental Home Services. Our Developmental Home Program offers individuals with developmental disabilities a supportive environment to grow and learn different skills in order to have a positive future.
Child Developmental Home Providers care for children with developmental disabilities who cannot live with their natural family and help them achieve permanency either through reunification with their parents, adoption, or another court-ordered plan.
Adult Developmental Home Providers provide care to adults with developmental disabilities to teach them important skills and to help them live satisfying and successful lives.
*As an Adult/Child developmental home provider, you would provide habilitation and room & board services for each member placed in your home. Habilitation or skills training would include teaching the member various self-help skills. This could include skills related to personal hygiene, health and wellness, organization, budgeting, etc. Room & board services would include providing all personal hygiene products, 3 meals per day, and a fully furnished bedroom for the member to sleep and live in.
Alternative care Program
Safe Haven Services, LLC offers Alternative Care Certification for care providers who want to offer temporary relief to children and adults in our child and adult developmental home providers home. All services require a certification and training in order to provide the described service. Please see General Requirements for more information.
Alternative Care Services will provide short-term relief for the primary caregiver (CDH provider, ADH Provider).
